After careers as a trial lawyer with the U.S. Justice Department and as CEO of a national retail company, Don Abrams purchased Rumbold Realty, a small Balboa Island brokerage, and transformed it into ABRAMS COASTAL PROPERTIES, now one of Orange County’s most successful independent brokerages.  During the past 10 years, Don has been personally involved in about one third of the sale transactions on Balboa Island as well as many transactions in the surrounding coastal areas served by the firm.  In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Don sold about half of all homes on Balboa Island and was one of the top 10 selling realtors in Newport Beach.

Don lives in a restored historic home on the Grand Canal on Balboa Island, and is a self-described man with a passion for people and houses.  Bringing his legal and negotiating skills to bear along with his innate business and marketing sense, Don is able to offer the most professional service available to buyers and sellers alike and looks forward to meeting you and helping you complete the best transaction of your life.
